Our goal is to increase students awareness of career development topics and help provide students with a knowledge of possible career paths they may pursue after high school.

- One of our group members presented to Seneca House at FMS (during regents week) information about HS courses that would be appropriate for 8th grades to take next year.
- Put together a course offerings power point (as a reference for Guidance)
- Two group members attended “What parents need to know about the HS curriculum at GHS” to provide additional support to our supervisor so that we could speak to more parents
- Meet with Andy Maycock and Aaron Sicotte about their study group “Looking at the Effectiveness of Senior Year” and discussed ways in which our groups could possibly collaborate in the future.
- Meet with Guilderland chamber of commerce director to discuss partnering opportunities for CEIP
- J. McGrath will be attending a conference to get ideas and make professional connections for our internship program

Developed modified International Business program for Music students
Created presentation and related materials tailored towards enhancing student awareness of this course that was tailored to meet their academic and potential career interests
Created website summaries relating to student internships
Designed for use of future students and parents to research potential internship options relating to career interests
Continue to work with Hudson Valley Community College to develop and support their Annual Career Expo and bring students to the Expo to help them learn about and explore information pertaining to career options
Working on the development of a career exploration internship program video advisement program
Tailored towards broadcasting information about the program and the benefits of the program for students and parents in the community

Provide tailored International Business course for music students – to align their musical interests with their relation to global business concepts and potential career options for the future
As a result of our study group, we have been able to enhance the methods and means of communicating with students, parents and mentors pertaining to career exploration internships
